Community Involvement

At Longview Power, our focus extends beyond delivery of safe and reliable energy. Our initiatives to enhance the environment and help our host communities grow and prosper, through direct financial support and employee involvement, exemplify our commitment to good corporate citizenship.

During plant construction, Longview Power has supported numerous community organizations with programs to enhance the community or the environment. Our contributions are directed towards specific programs, activities, and event sponsorships.

Aker Construction Inc., the lead construction contractor for the Longview Power project, has made similar contributions to the WVU Children's Hospital and the Town of Granville, among others.
